Technical requirements
All files entering our printing house undergo an incoming inspection procedure for compliance with the requirements below. We strongly recommend that you read and strictly follow these requirements in order to avoid all sorts of annoying problems in the process of printing your run.
GENERAL RULES FOR PREPARING LAYOUTS FOR PRINTING
Accepted media carriers
The media carriers on which orders are accepted: USB-flash, external HDD (USB).
Preferred file formats
Desirable: Adobe PDF
Adobe InDesign / Illustrator / Photoshop files will be considered only in an exceptional case. The font files used in the publication (PostScript and/or TrueType), as well as the graphic files used in the layout must be attached. Graphics should be in CMYK color mode, resolution 300 dpi in 1:1 scale.
Unacceptable file formats
ATTENTION: Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point files cannot be accepted as the camera-ready paste-up. Any and all responsibility for the presence of errors and inaccuracies in reproduction will rest with the customer. Claims in such cases shall not be accepted.
Document format
Document format: for files made in layout programs and vector graphics programs, the size of the document must exactly match the cut size of the publication. It is necessary to allow your image to stretch or „bleed” past the cut line by at least 2-5 mm. For PDF files, the size should be exactly the cut size plus 2-5 mm on each side.
For example, A4 format (210×297) + Bleed 5 mm = (220×307)
Convert fonts to outlines
The paste-ups handed over to the printing house must have fonts converted to curves.
Color options
Color Scheme – CMYK
Rich black – 40/40/40/100.
Gray color – 0/0/0/50 (60) +- , depending on the color saturation.
Color proofing requirements
The visual display on the computer screen cannot serve as a 100% color standard and will give only an approximate idea of the color! Exact color control is possible with the help of test printing performed in our printing house on our printing machine and paper that will be used later in your print run.
